Fundraisers for Irondale Wrestling

We have two great fundraisers going on this weekend. The first is through Linder’s Flower Marts. Anyone that shops at ANY Linder’s store this weekend, May 18-21, and brings in one of the attached coupon will have 15% of their pre-tax total donated to the Irondale Wrestling Boosters. The other event is on Sunday, May 19th, at the New Brighton Ford. Show up anytime between 9 am and 2 pm and take a car for a test drive. For every person that takes a drive Ford will donate $20 to the Irondale Wrestling Team. There is no pressure to buy and it is a quick way for us to raise some much needed cash for equipment. Stop at New Brighton Ford then head to Linder’s to pick up everything you need to plant this spring and give a boost to Irondale Wrestling while your at it.

Irondale Wrestling Summer Programs

Weight training will begin on 6/11/12 at Noon and will run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays throughout the summer. Information can be found on the district website under Community Education and you can sign up online. The cost for this program is $75.

Wrestling Technique sessions will also start on 6/11/12 at 10:45 am on Mondays and Wednesdays. There is no charge for this and it will run through the summer as well.

There is a mandatory time set aside by the MSHSL that prohibits athletes from participating in organized activities set up by a coach. This year that week will be from July 1-July 7. The normal schedule will resume on July 9^th.
